How to make drawstring bags
Steps/Methods
1
Choose two different colors of cloth
2
The first type of cloth, draw a 10×9.5cm rectangle on the back
3
The second kind of cloth, draw two 15×9.5cm rectangles on the back
4
Cut out three rectangles, do not cut along the line when cutting, leave a distance of 1~2cm from the drawn line
Sew the 9.5cm wide sides of the small rectangle to the two large rectangles according to the line drawn, and then get a larger rectangle after sewing.
Turn the cloth to the front, and paste the lace on the cloth surface at the stitches of the spliced ?? cloth. Tip: You can also use thread to sew the lace onto the cloth.
Fold the connected large rectangle up and down, paying attention to the reverse side of the cloth facing outward
Measure 13cm from the bottom up and make a mark
The left and right sides are stitched along the line drawn. When sewing, sew downward from the marked position. Tip: You can sew a rounded corner slightly at the bottom end
The four corners of the pocket opening are folded inward and a bevel is sewn to fix it.
Take two ropes about 55cm long, press them on the cloth surface at the opening, fold the opening downwards, wrap the rope, and sew a thread under the rope with a needle and thread, so that the rope can shrink freely inside
The pocket is turned to the other side, and the two ropes are wrapped in the cloth in the same way. Note that the two ropes should be placed in opposite directions
Turn over the finished drawstring bag from the opening.
Tie a knot at both ends of the rope, cut off the excess thread, and the ties are all completed.
